3Search are delighted to be partnering with an established British D2C subscription business based in South West London. Backed by one of the world's largest food companies, they're a £100 million pound business and operate with agility and pace. This is an exciting period to join the business as they continue to grow within the UK as well as European markets. 

This is a pivotal role which will see you own the development and delivery of the marketing strategy, media planning, and effectiveness of marketing investment in the UK and German markets. You will work closely with the Marketing Director and wider Brand and Commercial senior team to support the delivery of strategic goals and commercial plans. This is very much a media planning and strategy focused role as opposed to 'creative.' You'll own and manage agency relationships and take a macro view of the full marketing channel mix. This role will report into the CMO.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Building and obtaining buy-in for a 3-year investment model that helps define and forecast key growth and brand metrics 
  • Developing and owning the prospect market segmentation model
  • Developing and maintaining a central annual marketing plan and quarterly media plan across all paid, owned, and earned (comms), developing relevant scenarios to meet the operating plan for each territory 
  • Owning the media investment and budget (in excess of £10 million)
  • Tracking and measurement of campaign performance using relevant performance and modelling tools 

 The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Deep experience of strategic marketing planning client-side, ideally in a scaling B2C/D2C business
  • Proven experience planning and delivering effective marketing strategies and media investment across multiple markets to drive business growth
  • Expert knowledge in a range of strategic planning methodologies, investment strategies, and media planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills 
  • In-depth knowledge of ATL channels and strong digital understanding
