What does CRM recruitment look like in 2023?

Recruitment was unusually frantic in 2022. The majority of candidates – from CRM Executives to Heads of CRM – were spoiled for choice with the number of job openings on the market. This year, however, we have seen businesses scale back their hiring plans, and more candidates on the market actively looking for opportunities.

Many will believe that this makes recruitment easier for businesses, however there are a number of new challenges that they must face:

CRM salaries in 2023

Our data showed a 20% increase in salaries between 2021 and 2022. Salaries haven't dropped this year, with candidates citing salary as the most important element to consider when searching for a new role. This is reflected in our data, with salaries increasing by just 2% in the first half of 2023.

Are you hiring before the end of the year? Temporary recruitment can help!

If you’re hiring this side of Christmas, you should consider contract recruitment. Permanent hires take time to settle into their new jobs, with onboarding and training taking anywhere from 8 to 24 weeks. This means that time is quickly running out to make permanent additions to your team who will be able to contribute to your end of year objectives.
