We are working with a consumer tech business that has gone from strength to strength in recent years. Creating personalised products for their customers, they have been able to grow and have ambitious plans to become even bigger. They are scaling throughout the UK and Europe and now look to hire a Country Manager to focus on scaling in Germany. Having launched in this territory recently, they have seen instant interest and so this is a very exciting chance for someone with the right credentials to make their mark.


Reporting in to the General Manager for EU, this role will be based in London. The focus will be on identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short to long term revenue. You will need to manage the local marketing team and have a plan to develop the brand across the German market. Working with the International Performance Marketing team, you will collaborate on being able to drive traffic and conversion through the German website. This will be whilst focusing on delivering best in class customer experience for all that interact with the brand.


The successful candidate will be fluent in German with the ability to be able to understand consumer buying behaviour in this region. It will suit someone who is commercially minded, with previous P & L management experience and an understanding of contract negotiation. They are likely to come from or have worked very closely with marketing in the past and been involved in launching a brand within a territory. The successful candidate must have experience working for a direct to consumer product or brand.
