The role: 

We’ve grown rapidly in the last 3 years in a fast-paced industry, with most customers finding us through organic channels or business press. We're now looking to supercharge this growth with strategic brand awareness, paid media campaigns and scale new revenue-generating products and territories. You'll be overseeing all our acquisition through both digital and traditional channels - you'll build on our tests and learnings to date, setting the strategy and long-term vision for performance marketing. You'll find and test new channels with an unrelenting focus on efficiency and doubling down on the most successful channels with confidence in your data skills.

You'll report to our two founders and major investors and work with our product, marketing and finance teams. 

Key duties

• You will be taking care of developing the customer acquisition and retention strategy through mainly digital channels
• You will oversee the performance marketing budget across all channels including paid (e.g. PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates), owned (e.g. SEO, Content) and earned channels
• Develop creative campaigns for these channels, working closely with the wider marketing team 
• Create best in class user journeys across digital platforms and ecommerce 
• Partnerships: Identify and negotiate key partnerships to drive growth
• Develop our broader growth strategy across digital and DTC 
• Manage our CRM & retention to ensure shoppers come back again and again
• Reporting on all performance and KPI’s, identifying areas for improvement
• Innovating our approach to digital marketing, testing new channels to unlock growth for the brand 
• Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of reports, budgets, campaign performance, ROI, LTV, and other channel metrics
• Work effectively and maintain strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and establish long-term commercial and marketing partnerships in the UK (media, retail, brands, ambassador) to replicate across new territories

What we are looking for

• Have proven track record in performance marketing at scale, ideally in a fast moving consumer goods company especially if it was a start up!
• Are impact and data-actuated, eager to have a real positive impact on the company, product, users and colleagues
• Are as comfortable getting hands-on with a task as taking a step back and thinking strategically
• Are commercially minded and can put numbers into a business perspective to maintain marketing at scale profitably
• Have a self-starter mindset; you proactively identify issues and opportunities and tackle them without being told to do so
• Are a team player whom your colleagues can rely on, listening to others as well as not being afraid to give your voice
• Have experience in conducting large scale A/B experiments
• A passion for helping a business and brand grow over the coming years and not being afraid to be hands on whilst we go through this growth 

Salary: £60,000 to £80,000
