Bid Manager

The business we're hiring for is an international civil engineering company owned by one of the largest construction companies in the world. They are regarded as specialists in building construction and transportation infrastructure.

They are looking for a Bid Manager to drive and energise the bid team to achieve a successful outcome for each allocated tender. Following designated processes and best practices in place within the organisation.

The Bid Manager will be responsible for:

• Actively managing and winning tender opportunities.
• Providing clear leadership and direction for all members of the bid team.
• Designing, innovating and influencing solutions to best address inefficiencies.
• Working with the commercial manager to understand the route map to deliver the margin set within the business plan.
• Ensuring that a coherent bid strategy is developed, working in conjunction with the Business Development Manager and Sector Director.

The successful candidate will:

• Work collaboratively with a broad range of senior stakeholders.
• Have a demonstrated skill in building lasting client relationships and providing support to strong, motivated teams.
• Have a background in Engineering or Construction.
• Be willing to go the extra mile for your customers.
• Pursue a “can-do” attitude in all the work you can deliver.
