The Role: 

I’m looking for a Content Specialist/Creator to play a key role in development of the international communications strategy. It’s very important to this organisation that internal communications is presented to their staff in an engaging and exciting way.  

The strategy and campaigns will be led by the Director of the team and you will work alongside a team of 8. It’s up to you to take the vision and plan and go and create something engaging for the employees. 

This is such a cool role for someone who loves creating videos, GIFs and moving images. You have the autonomy to be super creative and produce effective content for their employees through their internal channels. If you have your own video and recording equipment even better. If not, they can support you with this.    

The Content Specialist/Creator will:  

  • Work closely with the wider internal communications team to plan and create meaningful and purposeful mixed media content that supports the understanding of our strategic priorities and campaigns. 
  • Work with our leadership community to create visual content that supports their communication objectives. 
  • Lead the in-house production of live events for our internal audience that improve the participant and presenter experience. 
  • Provide guidance to your internal communications colleagues to improve the effectiveness of our visual communications through measurement and feedback.   
  • Help set out our multimedia content strategy that supports re-energising our internal channels and driving engaging communications. 
  • Create and capture new and engaging content for the business.  

Required skills and experience: 

  • Extensive experience in mixed media production – from planning to creation and post-production of assets in a fast-paced organisation. 
  • Must be organised and structured way of thinking, able to prioritise workload and communicate this with stakeholders and work to tight deadlines when required 
  • Be able to work cross functionally in a matrixed business with multiple stakeholders.  
  • Experience of shooting/creating content. 
  • Always looking to improve – be inquisitive and look to try new ways of creating content and taking stakeholders with you on that journey.   
  • Understanding and experience of working with Workplace, Microsoft Office (Sharepoint, Stream), editing tools (Camtasia or others), Vimeo.
