Since the our client’s launch 3.5 years ago, they’ve proved themself to be one of the most innovative and fastest growing martech businesses in Europe. Their unique, intuitive platform is used by ecommerce, CRM and content teams, enabling digital retailers to bring their products to life beautifully, ultimately enhancing sales conversion. ARR has scaled to £1.5m and, following recent investment, the business now has big ambitions to continue their acceleration, targeting 4x growth in 2024 and £10m ARR in the next few years.
To support this growth ambition, the business is now searching for a Growth Director, who will be accountable for building a world-class team focused on high quality lead generation. The role will report directly to CEO and co-founder and, together with a soon to be appointed Sales Director, play a fundamental role in scaling the business to the next level.
Current ACV is £4,000, but the business aspires to sell to midmarket, where ACV would be closer to £40,000. In recent months, the business has closed a number of notable mid-market deals, so product market fit is proven, and this role will play a crucial role in helping the business win at a bigger and better level, driving higher value and better quality MQLs than ever before.
The Growth Director will immediately inherit an Outbound Growth Manager, Content Manager and Partnership Manager, and will also build a team of 4-5 SDRs in the next 12-18 months.
Currently, the company secures most of their MQLs through paid advertising. The business will want to continue to push into that channel, but as the organisation expands, so will their channel mix.
As a result, the successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of driving growth across a broad range of channels, with a focus on SEO, outbound and affiliates. They will be comfortable with, and excited to operate within, a ‘test-and-learn’ environment.
The candidate will have delivered great results in a fast-growth SaaS business – ideally mar/ adtech – and will have experience working for a company of equivalent size and scale. Their target customers are predominantly ecommerce heads / directors, or CRM and content teams, so a track record selling to this community would be highly beneficial.
Our client is seeking to expand internationally, particularly in the UK and US, and so candidates with a strong track record in global expansion / growth will be very seriously considered. The business is headquartered in France but embraces international talent. 25% of the business is based in the UK today, working remotely.
