I am currently working with a brand who are transporting the health food craze to the animal world. This brand uses all-natural ingredients in its supplements and meals. The aim is to improve dogs' moods and behaviour by enhancing their physical health. The DTC brand has experienced some serious growth and is now launching in Germany and looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to help them with their customer acquisition. 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Reporting into the Head of Growth, this role will be the first inhouse role dedicated Germany and will be responsible for defining and executing our performance marketing growth strategy in Germany
  • Day to day management of performance channels in particular Meta, TikTok and Google Ads
  • Building out and optimising channels to ensure cost-effective acquisition and retargeting ad campaigns through a constant and structured testing and learning approach
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and derive actionable insights to improve campaign performance
  • Leaning on our team of in-house experts who work on the UK across Paid Social, PPC, SEO, Affiliates and CRM team, to utilise their range of experience and advice on maximising growth
  • Work closely with the ecom and analytics teams to analyse and improve on-site performance as well as testing on-site activity such as sales and discounting strategies
  • Work with the Head of Growth to manage the annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring spend is phased in line with online targets
  • Strategise new ad creative angles and formats that would perform well with a German audience and brief into the design team all image, video and GIF requirements for relevant channels
  • Develop reporting dashboards and regularly prepare and present reports for the senior management team
  • Staying abreast of changes in the digital marketing landscape and recommending new opportunities to the business

Ideal Experience 

  • Strong experience in performance/growth marketing, focus on PPC & Paid Social
  • Must be very familiar with the German consumer market, having worked in growing German DTC brands previously
  • Native German speaker and fluent in English
