About the Company: We are working with a leading professional services firm with a global footprint, delivering expert advice and solutions to a diverse range of clients that includes fund managers, landlords, UNWIs. Their work covers is mainly the asset management side of the built environment offering dynamic and forward-thinking services. They are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Bid Designer to join a team of 20 and play a key role in the design and production of high-impact bid proposals.
The Role: As the Senior Bid Designer, you will take a lead role in the visual presentation and design of complex bid and tender documents. Collaborating closely with bid managers, marketing teams, and subject matter experts, you will ensure that all bid materials reflect our brand, convey our message effectively, and stand out in a competitive marketplace. 75% of the work is weighted towards bid design and 25% supporting the marketing function.
You will work on high-value projects and play a critical role in shaping compelling visuals that enhance our bid submissions, while adhering to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of bid, tender, and proposal documents, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with bid managers and subject matter experts to translate content into visually engaging and impactful formats.
- Create bespoke graphics, layouts, and infographics that enhance written content.
- Ensure all bid materials meet design best practices and are compliant with client specifications.
- Manage the design workflow for multiple bids simultaneously, prioritizing and delivering on time.
- Continuously improve the design process, introducing innovative ideas and methods to enhance visual communication.
- Work with external printers and production agencies to ensure high-quality output for physical bid submissions when necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a bid designer or similar role within a professional services or corporate environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in bid/tender design and document production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and MS Office (particularly PowerPoint).
- Exceptional layout, typography, and graphic design skills.
- Ability to interpret and visually communicate complex ideas and information.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Desirable:
- Previous studio and bids experience
- Sound knowledge of creative media software and technologies
- Excellent IT skills: main design software packages; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Animate, AfterEffects and Premiere) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and AI.
