We are working with an exciting and fast-growing fire and electrical compliance company, known for its innovative approach and over 40 years of experience. With a strong reputation for delivering services to Housing Associations and Local Authorities across London and the South-East, our client is now looking for a Senior Bid Writer to join their high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a company committed to growth and excellence.

The Senior Bid Writer will:

  • Craft well-written proposals for fire and electrical compliance services in the public sector.
  • Lead and manage the tender process from kickoff to submission.
  • Rework and improve existing content to align with new bids.
  • Collaborate with senior management, providing strategic advice on bids and market opportunities.
  • Coach and develop junior team members to elevate the overall bid team performance.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in bid writing, particularly in public sector procurement within an SME contractor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A problem-solving attitude, able to gather information and improve tender responses.
