Senior Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager - Searchlight

Division: Searchlight Job Title: Senior Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager Reports to: Divisional Head of Marketing Location: Hybrid – 1 Day Type: Fixed Term Contract – 12 months Purpose: To create and deliver the multi-channel marketing strategy to drive membership growth across multiple HR subscription networks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Searchlight, by Hanson Wade is a subscription-based business information product that nurtures year-round online communities within the HR function across different industries. You will create and deliver the marketing strategy for Searchlight, supported by the Divisional Head of Marketing. You will execute creative multi-channel marketing campaigns, within a portfolio of HR subscription networks and utilize the full marketing mix to exceed lead generation, conversion, and revenue targets.

Campaign Development & Execution:

• Managing Searchlight’s marketing strategy to ensure that we target new members, retain our current members, and grow their lifetime value.

• Develop and implement dynamic and creative marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.

• Effective email marketing, copy writing, data segmentation and use through our email automation platform.

• Manage and utilize the content created by our networks from our Delivery team for lead generation.

• Autonomy over marketing budget allocation for each network. • Create and oversee all marketing materials from website banners to product brochures.

Digital Presence:

• Manage and innovate the Searchlight network websites. • Define and deliver an engaging social media strategy across LinkedIn and Twitter. • Experiment with organic and paid acquisition channels including content creation,

content curation, Google Ads campaigns and LinkedIn Ads campaigns. • Leverage affiliate marketing through our network members, strategy advisors, sponsors,

media partners and associations.

Performance & Customer Analysis:

• Evaluate campaign performance against KPIs and use insights to drive improvements. • Engage in project meetings to update the Searchlight team with progress of marketing

activities and reporting on performance that will elicit positive campaign outcomes.

Collaboration:

• Enhance brand visibility by working closely with stakeholders across Hanson Wade Group’s product offerings, including Beacon and Conferences.

• Collaborate closely with the Divisional Head of Marketing to elevate marketing standards and best practice.

for the Searchlight division • Proactively provides optimised feedback using the most appropriate channel, cuts

through the noise, shares information positively, welcomes views of others, listens and responds appropriately, and is confident presenting to small groups

• Collaborates effectively with Searchlight project team and demonstrates mutual respect and understanding

• Generates alternative solutions when solving problems, proactively addresses challenges on campaigns, and asks the right questions

• Takes on new tasks and projects without direction, puts themselves forward for team projects, tests new channels and ideas, and takes on additional tasks or projects willingly

Education & Experience:

• 2.1 or above degree in any subject • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Account-Based Marketing • Proficient at creating and updating website on platforms such as WordPress • Experience using marketing automation platforms such as Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo,

Marketing Cloud etc • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

Desirable:

• Experience with Marketo (marketing automation platform) and Salesforce (CRM) • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search

Console • Additional marketing qualifications or online courses • A self-starter with experience in a start-up environment
