The Company: 

I’m excited to be recruiting for a well-known food business based in London. This company was founded in 2007 and is now the largest fast-casual restaurant chainsIt’s important to add that their cuisine is one of my favourites and one you all know too well.  

They operate in over 85 different locations across the UK and the Middle East and employs over 1500 people across the business. 

The Role: 

This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and will be responsible for producing and creating new ideas and content for their social channels.  

This brand is cheeky and mischievous and I’m looking for someone who embodies a playful attitude in their writing and content creation. I’m looking for someone who can be reactive and risky with their content to align with the businesses tone.   

The Social Media Manager will: 

  • Content creation: Plan, create & share a calendar of channel-specific content across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, YouTube (& any future channels) that delivers our brand personality & achieves high reach & engagement. 
  • Trends: Live & breathe social media, advising on cultural & social moments. 
  • Community management: Engage & respond to customer comments, DMs & feedback in line with best practice & brand tone of voice. 
  • Influencers & partnerships: Manage influencers / creator portfoliosmaintaining existing relationships as well as building new partnership opportunities. 
  • Marketing activities & events: Confidently represent the brand at marketing events & activations, including new restaurant openings, photoshoots & meetings. Support on these when required, collaborating with internal & external teams.  

Required skills and experience: 

  • 2+ years relevant experience in a social media / content creator role. 
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms & best practices. 
  • Excellent short-form video editing skills using Splice / In shot or similar.
  • Creative & resourceful, experienced in working on a small budget.
  • Strong organisational skills & eye for detail.
  • Excellent copy writing & language skills. Can write witty & humorous short form captions. 
  • Agile & adaptive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Proficiency in graphic design tools / software is a bonus.
