I am currently working digital-first Health & Wellness brand, focused on recovery. They are expanding their category and will be launching new products and supplements. Due to growth they they are looking for a Video Editor to report into the Head of Brand & Creative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring a seamless and engaging final product, with a specific focus on creating engaging and hook-guided short-form content for social media and ad campaigns.
• Content Ideation: Lead and participate in regular ideation sessions, bringing new and exciting ideas to the table.
• Brand Guardian: Ensure all video content is on-brand and consistent with brand guidelines. Review all content for consistency, accuracy, spelling and grammar.
• Multi-tasker: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. Accurately estimate editing times and adhere to allocated timelines.
• Video Editing Trends: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and video editing trends and techniques to consistently improve the quality and relevance of our work.

Candidate Requirements:

• Editing experience in a professional capacity, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Ideally have previous experience generating high-performing paid social ads in a video format.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, capable of working autonomously as well as in a team.
• Strong organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
• Passionate about health and wellness.
• Genuine passion for video editing and creative ideation, with a desire to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
• Deep understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Agile and adaptive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite. Proficiency in graphic design tools/software is a bonus.
• Nice to have: Proficient in DaVinci Resolve Studio for colour grading, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) for video editing, and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
