Our bid recruitment team first started working with Galliford Try in 2022. As a result of recent successes, the business was looking to grow their bids and pursuits team to handle the growing workload. As a result, Galliford Try got in touch with 3Search for support in their talent search. We have placed two Bid Writer roles in H2 of 2022. Due to the success and efficiency of our searches, along with the quality of candidates we have delivered, we’ll be continuing to support the business in the future.
Bid recruiter, Stuart Watson, specialises in the construction and infrastructure industries and so was best equipped to support Galliford Try in their talent search.
The business had been looking for the right bid talent for a few months when they engaged Stuart and 3Search. As the bid skill set is actively evolving, the company struggled to identify the talent needed for the Bid Writer roles. Having taken the time to understand the business and the role requirements, Stuart worked closely with the hiring manager at Galliford Try to identify high-calibre candidates. For each role, Stuart had delivered short lists in a week and the roles were filled within a month.

I’ve recently been placed in a new role, starting in January, thanks to the support from 3Search and Stuart Watson. Stuart initially approached me via LinkedIn in late September and by early November I had secured the role. This was greatly helped by the patience and encouragement that Stuart showed throughout.
