About the Role
  
We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Assistant Bid Manager to join our dynamic Business Development team at a leading professional services and advisory firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication, project management, and writing skills to play a key role in supporting high-value bids and proposals across a variety of sectors, including audit, advisory, consulting, and tax.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of compelling, client-focused proposals, tenders, and RFP/RFI responses
  • Work with senior stakeholders, partners, and subject matter experts to gather input and ensure consistent messaging across all bid content
  • Manage timelines, submission deadlines, and compliance with internal processes
  • Draft and edit executive summaries, CVs, case studies, and value propositions tailored to client needs
  • Support continuous improvement by maintaining a library of reusable content and contributing to bid strategy sessions
  • Collaborate closely with the wider business development, marketing, and sector teams to align bids with firmwide growth goals
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a bids, proposals, marketing, or business development role (ideally within a professional services or regulated environment)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint); experience with bid management tools is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
