We are a leading professional services firm seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Bid Manager to join our Marketing and Business Development team. You will play a critical role in driving business growth by managing the end-to-end bid process for high-value, complex opportunities across the firm.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts across the business, ensuring our proposals are compelling, client-focused, and distinctive in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the full lifecycle of strategic bids, from initial qualification through to final submission and post-bid review
- Facilitate bid kick-off sessions, win strategy development, and storyboard planning
- Work closely with technical experts and partners to create tailored, high-quality written content
- Coordinate and manage inputs from cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ensure all submissions are compliant, on-brand and delivered to deadline
- Support development and coaching of pitch teams for client presentations
- Maintain and improve bid content libraries and knowledge repositories
- Analyse bid outcomes to support continuous improvement and future success
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the bids team
About You - Proven experience managing bids within a professional services, consultancy or financial services environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and bid management tools desirable
- A proactive, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Creative approach to bid strategy, storytelling and visual presentation
