Bid Writer – Property Services
Location: London
Full-time | Permanent
£60,000-£65,000

About the Company

We’re working with a long-established national contractor specialising in property maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance services. Operating across social housing, public sector, and commercial environments, the business is known for its high-quality delivery, collaborative culture, and commitment to continuous improvement.
To support ongoing growth and work-winning success, they are looking to appoint a Bid Writer to join their friendly and high-performing pre-construction team.

The Role

As Bid Writer, you’ll play a central role in producing high-quality written content for PQQs, tenders, and framework applications. You’ll work closely with operational leads and subject matter experts to ensure every submission clearly communicates the company’s strengths, track record, and value proposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write clear, concise, and compelling responses for public sector and framework tenders (particularly in housing, compliance, and refurbishment)
  • Work with internal teams to gather information and evidence needed for strong submissions
  • Tailor responses to reflect client needs, evaluation criteria, and scoring matrices
  • Edit and proofread documents to ensure consistency, tone, and accuracy
  • Maintain and improve the bid content library and standard answers
  • Assist with layout, formatting, and final production of submission documents
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer or in a similar content-focused role (ideally within construction, FM, or property services)
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to simplify technical information for non-technical readers
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work well under pressure
  • A proactive team player who enjoys collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with bid platforms such as EasyPQQ or SharePoint (desirable)
What’s on Offer
  • A supportive and down-to-earth working environment
  • Genuine opportunities to influence outcomes and improve bid quality
  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • Flexible hybrid working – typically 2–3 days in the office per week
  • Career development and training support
