Having recruited a number of positions for the business at a junior and mid level, Touchnote approached 3Search Executive as their exclusive partner to secure their next CMO. 

A CMO to lead Touchnote's expansion

This Chief Marketing Officer role was to be focussed on growing their dominant offering in the UK, as well as expanding in the US. They were in the process of launching their subscription service, and required a strong operator with an excellent track record across both acquisition and engagement. 


Our search process

3Search ran a retained search process, identifying candidates with a background in fast-paced and fast-growth online trading businesses. Due to their expansion plans, diverse geographical experience was key, so we searched for candidates in both the UK and US markets.

Our process allowed us to identify a shortlist of 5 superb options. However, there was one stand out candidate whose global experience and track record in scale-ups shone through. She was offered the role, and was successfully appointed in 2019.
