Yonder Consulting success story
Yonder is a new consultancy that helps clients to unlock opportunity and deliver business impact. Launched in October 2020, Yonder brings together the expertise of four specialist businesses across London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Our work with Yonder
Our digital marketing recruiters first started working with Yonder in 2023. We had assisted their new Sales and Marketing Director with their recruitment needs in a previous company. Having delivered an excellent service then, they knew that 3Search would be best equipped to support this talent search, too.
Maternity cover for a Client Development Manager role
Specialist interim marketing recruiter, Sarah Andrews, was briefed by Yonder’s HR team on a Client Development Manager job role. As the current employee was going on maternity leave, they needed quick access to interim talent to cover the position.
This was a unique opportunity. As Yonder is a new consultancy (launched just four years prior), this temporary role had the real opportunity to turn permanent at the end of the contract. This broadened the talent pool for Sarah, who was able to engage more candidates who were currently in permanent marketing jobs.
Advocating for the perfect candidate
When Sarah engaged the successful candidate, Yonder already had final interviews scheduled. However, Sarah knew that this applicant was the perfect candidate for the role.
Previously in a permanent role, the candidate wasn’t actively searching for a new opportunity when she was approached by Sarah. The job description perfectly matched her skill set, however, so decided to pursue the role.
Sarah advocated for the candidate and secured them a chemistry call with the hiring manager at Yonder. They loved the candidate so much that they were progressed straight to the final stage interview and, ultimately, secured the job.
