Data & Analytics: Speaking the Same Langauge

To be the first to know about upcoming webinars, subscribe to our mailing list!

On Wednesday, 26th November, 3Search held a webinar about how Data & Analytics professionals can overcome communication obstacles in their careers. Featuring industry experts from Just Eat, intuit, and Warner Music Group, they shared their own experiences of how they’ve overcome obstacles in their careers and what advice they would offer to those in similar positions.

We have uploaded the recording for you to enjoy and share!

Our industry experts covered a LOT! Here are our key takeaways:

  1. Understand your audience - To present effectively to key stakeholders, you must understand what they'll respond to. Creative individuals might prefer colourful graphs & charts, whilst those in Financial Services could prefer numbers.
  2. Visualisation is key - Find what tool works best for you and the company, but there are lots of ways that you can present data. A Q&A session is an interesting method you can try.
  3. Be yourself in interviews - We all know that you can't learn every coding language, so be open with what you don't know. Don't try to learn a specific language for the interview process. Instead, show a willingness and hunger to learn!
