We’re working with a fast-evolving Financial Services start-up establishing itself in the Investments space. They’re looking to hire a commercially minded Economist to lead their economic content and thought leadership across global markets as a key driver of the next stage of their growth.

We’re working with a fast-evolving Financial Services start-up establishing itself in the Investments space. They’re looking to hire a commercially minded Economist to lead their economic content and thought leadership across global markets as a key driver of the next stage of their growth.
The Economist will:
- Create and deliver impactful macroeconomic content on markets, sectors, and global themes, with a focus on UK, US, and LATAM.
- Act as a credible voice both internally and externally, including media engagements and client comms.
- Support strategic content initiatives tied to the company’s repositioning, working across marketing, strategy, and leadership teams.
- Turn complex economic data into compelling narratives that resonate with a broad audience, from private clients to platform users.
- 10+ years of experience in economic research, financial media, or market commentary.
- Strong published work – Bloomberg, FT, The Economist, or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of macroeconomics and financial markets.
- Confident communicator, strong writer, and media-savvy.
- Experience in financial services, especially trading or brokerage, is highly desirable.
