Digital Growth Manager (Paid Social)

Travel to office in Edinburgh once every 3 weeks



I am currently working with a D2C pet wellness brand. They have a vision for improving overall pet health and wellness, focusing on nutrition and pet behaviour and supporting pet owners to give their pets the happy, healthy, and long life that they deserve. Due to growth, they are looking for a Digital Growth Manager (Paid Social) to join the team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the day-to-day management and planning of paid social and display activity with our in house creative team supported by our external digital performance agency.
  • Proactively manage our external digital performance agency and budget to optimise investment plans, return on investment and achieve campaign objectives for both acquisition and retention.
  • Successfully forecast performance and track, analyse and report marketing effectiveness.
  • Identify, share and leverage consumer and market insights to make recommendations about future tests or campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team and external agencies to deliver integrated campaign planning, propose appropriate budget allocation, and integrate investment and communications approaches across digital channels, ensuring effective messaging at the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel, as well as retargeting new customer prospects.


Ideal Experience:

  • Passionate and experienced in managing social media and display campaigns either through overseeing performance agencies or directly running campaigns hands-on.
  • A big picture thinker and analytical executor
  • Personable, able to successfully network and manage external agencies in order to achieve joint successful outcomes.
  • Willing to work collaboratively in a team and in cross-functional squads to achieve collective goals.
  • Experienced in managing budgets.
  • Confident in generating weekly and monthly trade reports.
  • Biassed to test and learn with an experimentation mindset
