Technical Product Manager 

  • Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + benefits 
  • Location: London

Our client is growing and looking for a Product Manager to join their Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role is essential for improving productivity, reliability, and efficiency as the company expands. As a Product Manager, you will be instrumental in building and managing an internal developer platform that ensures high uptime for critical services, supports numerous production releases, and scales in response to system load and unexpected events.

The Product Manager will:

  • Collaborate with the software delivery organisation to understand, scope, and prioritise the needs of delivery teams.
  • Lead discovery processes to identify problems and needs within delivery teams.
  • Monitor and drive improvements in the speed and efficiency of the software delivery organisation.
  • Create and own an ambitious roadmap and OKRs, aligning them with the company's strategy and mission.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, roadmap planning, and more.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong product management fundamentals.
  • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work effectively between delivery teams and platform capabilities.
  • Familiarity with technologies like Kubernetes, Golang, Kafka, Terraform, Spinnaker, and Jenkins is advantageous.
  • Background in engineering or DevOps is required
  • Abilty to manage a large team of engineers who are all onshore
